CMS is pleased to announce that this year’s Schermerhorn Fellowship has been awarded to one of our voice teachers, Julia Katherine Walsh. This continuing education fellowship for CMS teachers was established by Eunice Schermerhorn in memory of her husband, George Schermerhorn, the longtime Director of CMS who passed away in 2014. His wish was to provide for the continuing education of CMS faculty that would enable them to grow personally and further inspire their CMS students. Ms. Walsh will use the award to attend two online courses this summer.
