The second and final week of the City Arts Camp for Allentown middle school students wrapped up with a performance for family and friends at CMS on Friday afternoon.  Campers presented their week’s artistic creations, several musical selections, a theatrical skit, and a dance performance.  Three longtime CMS students worked as counselors for this year’s camp:  (lower right, L-R) Melody Herrera, counselor-in-training, Ceiran Magee, and Ty’lei Singleton.  We also thank our talented faculty members, Joe Wagner and Griffin Woodard who taught a variety of instruments for the camp.

At City Arts Camp, students learn art, music, dance, and theater with professional instructors from The Allentown Art Museum, Allentown Symphony Association, The Baum School of Art, Civic Theatre, Community Music School, and Repertory Dance Theatre. We thank the Harry C. Trexler Trust for underwriting the entire cost of City Arts Camp.

The 2022 CITY ARTS CAMP ran for two weeks, July 18-22, and July 25-29, at Community Music School. This FREE week-long day camp is open to rising 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students who live in the Allentown School District.
