CMS piano teacher, Griffin Woodard and his quartet were selected to perform at the T.U. Jazz Fest in Toronto. The 9th annual T.U. Jazz Fest takes place on Labor Day Weekend, September 1-4, 2023, at Mel Lastman Square in Toronto. The event features the best up-and-coming jazz musicians in Canada, masterclasses, food, activities and more.
Out of 130 band submission applicants, 25 were invited to perform. Part of the adjudication process includes views, likes, & comments on each band’s one-minute video entry on Youtube. Judges scores and the number of positive fan reactions will determine where the bands will perform at the festival and how much they will be compensated.
