CMS voice and piano student Naomi Herrera performed with the William Allen High School Chorale at the Kiwanis Club of Allentown’s annual foundation grant award luncheon on Thursday, December 4, at the Shanty on 19th. Naomi studies voice with Julia Walsh and piano with Kathy Anthony. She is one of this year’s Amaranth Scholars. Community Music School was among the nine nonprofit organizations awarded grants at the interclub meeting. Assistant Director Lisa Kulp attended the luncheon to accept a $1,000 grant for support of the financial aid program at CMS. We thank the Kiwanis Club for their continued support of financial aid for CMS students!
