Liam Pammer, piano student of Kelly Hooper, recently released a new video on his Einaudi’s Protégé YouTube Channel. Liam says, “This is my felted piano rendition of “Luminous” from Ludovico Einaudi’s album, Underwater. The felt creates a softer, muted tone, perfect for this piece’s gentle, flowing character. Liam Ray, trombone student of Matthew Blanchard and a 2025 Parkland High School graduate, performed at the Emmaus Rotary’s Flag Day Program on Saturday, June 16. Coordinator Sue Straeter thanked Liam for his professional and capable contribution to this year’s Flag Day Program. Liam performed “To the Colors” as the color guard advanced and retired the flag. Liam and CMS also received a mention in the June 18, 2025 issue of the East Penn Press.
On Wednesday, July 2, CMS piano students Jacqueline Ott-Tran and Liam Pammer joined their teacher Kelly Hooper to continue our monthly performance residency at Kirkland Village senior living community in Bethlehem. We love sharing the joy of music with Kirkland Village residents on the first Wednesday of each month! C.J. Ray, a tuba student of Matthew Blanchard at CMS, is marching with the Reading Buccaneers this summer. C.J. is a rising senior at Parkland High School. He is joined on the Buccaneer’s tuba line by former CMS student Ben Aloupis. The Reading Buccaneers Drum and Bugle Corps is a not-for-profit, education-oriented musical organization dedicated to providing its members with a unique performing experience. Organized in 1957 as a parade corps by “age-outs” of various local junior corps and veterans of WWII and Korea, the “Bucs” perform in various venues, including parades, exhibitions, concerts, and field shows.
