Thank you for celebrating the season at CMS! On Sunday, December 14, almost 60 students of all ages, including those in the Modern Band and “Springs in Bloom” violin ensemble performed in our three-act Holiday Recital. The program included classical and contemporary selections, along with many holiday favorites on piano, violin, viola, voice, flute, guitar, trumpet, and drums.The Dorothy H. Baker Recital Hall was FULL of holiday spirit, and the snowy weather certainly added to the festiveness of the day! Be sure to check out the Holiday Recital highlights video on YouTube!
Performing in front of a live audience is an important part of each CMS student’s growth and development. We encourage students of all ages and abilities to perform in recitals when they are ready, with approval from their teacher.
As always, CMS recitals are free for students to perform and for the public to attend; however, CMS is a nonprofit organization and there is substantial cost associated with producing these events. If you are able, please consider making a charitable donation to help support our mission here.
