We are thrilled that 17 CMS students participated in our first “Free To Be” music sharing opportunity on Sunday, November 16! It was a fun afternoon that included students of all ages; for several students, this was the first time they’ve shared their musical progress with an audience at CMS.
Our “Free To Be” music sharing program features shorter time blocks, smaller audiences, flexible seating options, relaxed attire, natural lighting, no professional videography/photography, and virtual sharing and backing track options.
Families who participated should check their email accounts for a brief survey that allows them to provide feedback on this innovative new program.
Please save the date for our next “Free To Be” on Sunday, February 22, 2026.
Any questions about “Free To Be” should be directed to Program Coordinator Kelly Hooper at kelly@cmslv.org.
CMS gratefully acknowledges a grant of $950 from the Frances Clark Center for Keyboard Pedagogy to purchase equipment and materials for this exciting new program.
