We are fortunate to have so many multi-talented teachers here at CMS. Next week, two of our teachers will take to regional stages in major theatrical roles.
Voice, piano, and ukulele teacher Abigail Zuckert will appear as “Mrs. White” in the Reading-based Genesius Theatre’s production of “Clue” from October 6-15. Clue is the comedy whodunit, based on the iconic 1985 Paramount movie, that will leave both cult fans and newcomers in stitches as they try to figure out…WHO did it, WHERE, and with WHAT! Our trombone, euphonium, and tuba teacher, Nick Conti, will portray the unjustly exiled barber, “Sweeney Todd – The Demon Barber of Fleet Street” as he returns to nineteenth century London, seeking vengeance against the lecherous judge who framed him. This bloody, worldwide success by Stephen Sondheim and Hugh Wheeler will be presented at the Pennsylvania Playhouse in Bethlehem from October 6-22. Get tickets for “Sweeney Todd” at PA Playhouse.
