The Dorothy H. Baker Recital Hall was rockin’ in December as over 100 students from ASD’s Newcomer Academy performed their Winter Concert. Newcomer supports students who are new arrivals to Allentown and who have minimal English language skills. CMS teacher, Daniel Gonzalez, led six weeks of drum circle classes for grades K-6, which culminated in a walking field trip to CMS to perform for fellow students and their families. The program was funded by the Allentown School District Foundation. 12/20/19
