Friday, March 8 was a spirited day of fun and learning at CMS, as our Music Explorers embarked on a journey through the world of music. The young students enjoyed learning about music theory, singing, violins, keyboards, percussion, xylophones, and a number of call-and-repeat rhythm games. They and their families ended the day with a show-and-tell session with a variety of brass, woodwind, and string instruments. If you know of a youngster (age 7-11) who may be interested in exploring many different instruments, the next session of Music Explorers will be held on Wednesday, July 17.
