CMS is pleased to announce that Laura M. Attieh of Lower Nazareth Township was elected to the CMS Board of Directors by unanimous vote on December 14, 2022. Attieh will serve a three-year term with the 40-year-old Allentown nonprofit that provides the access and inspiration for anyone in our diverse community to achieve excellence in music education and appreciate the transformative power of music.
In December, the Board also extended its sincere appreciation to departing Board Members Matthew Tuerk and Safa Ashrafi.
Laura M. Attieh is an attorney with the King, Spry, Herman, Freund & Faul, LLC law firm in Bethlehem, PA where she counsels school clients in education and special education law. Prior to joining KingSpry, Attieh served as Deputy District Attorney for Northampton County. She holds a Juris Doctor from Western Michigan University, Thomas M. Cooley Law School and a B.S. in Leadership and Consumer Economics from the University of Delaware. She resides in Lower Nazareth Township with her husband, Simone, and their two sons, Will and Jack. Music was always part of her family life growing up and her passion and dedication to helping children is paramount. Now, listening to their younger son, Jack, play both piano and guitar is a favorite family pastime.
