After 44 years of operations, the East Allen Township Volunteer Ambulance Corps (East Allen EMS) closed its doors in July 2023. As part of the dissolution process, the East Allen EMS Board of Directors is donating its final funds to area nonprofits, including Community Music School, to purchase EMS and first aid equipment. CMS will use the one-time gift of $16,850 to fund the purchase of an AED, first aid supplies, and emergency response training for CMS staff and teachers.
East Allen EMS representatives Michele Morrow and Greg Kuhn presented the check at the CMS board meeting on Monday, September 23. We thank Greg, Michele, and the rest of the East Allen EMS Board of Directors for this generous and important gift that will enhance our safety here at CMS.
