CMS brass teacher Nick Conti is the director and music director of the Mustard & Cheese Drama Society’s production of “The Lightning Thief: The Percy Jackson Musical” at Lehigh University’s Fowler Black Box Theatre (in the Zoellner Arts Center) on March 23, 24, 25, & 26.
Adapted from the book “The Lightning Thief” by Rick Riordan, this rock musical is “mesmerizing” and proves that “lightning can strike twice!” The Greek gods are real, and they’re ruining Percy Jackson’s life. As a son of Poseidon, Percy has newly discovered powers he can’t control; he has monsters on his trail, and is on an epic quest to find Zeus’s lightning bolt and prevent a war between the gods.
Tickets are free, but seating is limited. Patrons are encouraged to arrive early to secure a seat.
