On Wednesday, February 5, CMS teachers Abigail Zuckert (voice) and Kelly Hooper (piano) kicked off our faculty performance residency at Kirkland Village, a senior living community in Bethlehem. The audience of about 40 residents, families, and staff enjoyed an hour of favorite love-themed songs from a variety of genres, including jazz, classic rock, and musical theater. Highlights included “I’m in Love with a Wonderful Guy” from South Pacific, “Crazy” by Patsy Cline, “Hello Young Lovers” from The King and I, and a number of Carole King songs. We look forward to our faculty members sharing the joy of music with Kirkland Village residents on the first Wednesday of each month.
