NEW! Community Music School (CMS) will host a free, open-mic coffee house on the second Friday of each month, starting November 11, 2022. That day, we will also celebrate what would be the 100th birthday of CMS founder, Martha Maltez. Community Music School’s Max Hess Lounge offers a unique art-deco backdrop for a highly appealing performance and listening experience.
This free performance opportunity is open to all CMS students and teachers, as well as area musicians of all ages and abilities. Space is limited. Performers and guests must sign up in advance using this Google Form.
A grand piano, guitar amp, bass amp, house acoustic guitar, and a vocal mic are all available. Set times will be given in the order of sign up. If space allows, performers may also sign up at the door by scanning the QR code, or by using the sign-up kiosk. Light complimentary refreshments. BYOB. Convenient and free parking on our lot, at 1544 Hamilton Street in Allentown.
