We are pleased to welcome Dr. Andrew O’Connor to our string faculty! Dr. O’Connor holds a Doctorate of Musical Arts in Double Bass Performance from the Eastman School of Music, in Rochester, NY. He also completed his undergraduate studies at the Eastman School and earned a Master’s in Music Performance at The Hartt School of Music in Hartford, CT. He is a skilled double bassist, electric bassist, guitarist, composer, and teacher who performs, tours, and records in a variety of genres, including classical, opera, musical theater, rock, and jazz. He enjoys working in modern music and experimenting with other genres. Andrew and his wife recently relocated to downtown Allentown, and we are excited to welcome him to CMS!
